Celebrating Our Catholic Faith

Elementary Faith Formation meets on Wednesday evenings at the Church of St. Dominic for interactive learning and living the Christian Catholic Faith, based on the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Please see the Faith Formation calendar for specific times/details.

Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade: Students participate in a 3 year learning cycle of Scripture and prayer.  They experience interactive bible stories, practice their prayers, create faith art and play games. Textbooks: OSV Catholic Prayer Book for Children, ZonderKids Beginner’s Bible, and Super Duper Activity Book.

Sacramental PreparationSecond Grade Students and older: Students participate in active learning on Wednesdays as well as a few weekend family days to prepare for Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist.  Textbooks for study of the sacraments: Dynamic Catholic Blessed! Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade: Students learn how to read the bible, study salvation history, memorize scripture passages, deepen their understanding of the Mass, and receive training as an altar server. Textbook: Bible and St. Mary’s Press Discovery! curriculum

Please use the “REGISTRATION” link from the Faith Formation dropdown menu to register for all levels of classes in both English and Spanish–Elementary, First Communion Preparation, Middle School, and Confirmation Preparation, Catecismo familia. Only one online form per family is necessary.
