St. Dominic is the spiritual home for the majority of approximately 1,000 people of Hispanic descent living in Northfield. With the leadership of the Comite Hispano the Hispanic community has its own programs of preparation for Baptism, First Communion, Marriage, Confirmation, and RICA. A prayer group meets in the church building each Friday evening. Other ministries include prison ministry in conjunction with Divine Mercy in Faribault, choir, hospitality, sale of food following most Masses. Celebrations and activities of note are:
- Spanish Mass every Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
- Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12)
- Bilingual Masses or services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and All Souls
- Sister Parish relationship with San Pedro Apóstol of Maltrata, Mexico, and the Diocese of Orizaba
