College Campus Ministry
Catholic Student Association (St. Olaf College) and Newman Club (Carleton College)
Catholic students at both St. Olaf and Carleton organize themselves under the title of the Catholic Student Association. The CSA is officially recognized as a campus student group by each of the two colleges. These groups are independent from St. Dominic Parish but work in conjunction with the parish to organize Masses on campus, rides for students to St. Dominic on Sundays, and connecting students with parish families for a home away from campus through an “adopt-a-student” program. On campus they organize prayer times, discussions on theological topics, and promotion of retreats and outings to experience a broader picture of the Catholic Church in our area.
